Richard Matoian serves as Manager of the California Fig Advisory Board (CFAB), a statewide promotion group, representing the fig industry in California. Matoian is responsible for promotion and advertising efforts and consumer awareness programs domestically and internationally. Matoian also farms table grapes in a family partnership. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business from California State University, Fresno in 1984. He also maintains a Pest Control Advisor's license.
